The JBC P-005 Pedal + Adapter Kit allows hands-free control of compatible JBC equipment during soldering and rework processes. By using the foot pedal, operators can activate specific functions without interrupting their workflow.
The pedal can trigger Sleep or Hibernation modes, helping to reduce thermal stress on components and extend tool life when the tool is temporarily not in use. This makes it particularly useful when working with tweezers or during repetitive soldering operations.
The activation mode can be configured (pressed or released), and a minimum activation time can be set according to the application.
The pedal can also function as a start/stop control for various JBC systems such as hot air stations, preheaters, fume extractors and auto-feed soldering equipment.
