The JBC DME-2B Control Unit is designed for professional electronics production, repair and rework applications where multiple tools are required. The station enables the simultaneous operation of up to four soldering or desoldering tools, providing maximum flexibility for complex workflows.
The control unit is fully compatible with 13 different JBC tools and delivers up to 150 W peak power per tool, ensuring excellent thermal performance and rapid heat recovery even in demanding applications.
This version features the DDE-style design with a 7-button interface, offering a more robust and intuitive user experience while allowing quick access to station functions.
The unit operates with JBC’s Most Efficient Soldering System, providing precise temperature control, high thermal stability and efficient energy use. Integrated Sleep and Hibernation modes automatically reduce the temperature when tools are placed in their stands, helping to extend cartridge life and reduce energy consumption.
When two or more tools are connected, the station provides a split-screen display that allows clear monitoring and control of multiple active channels.
A pedal connection is included to improve workflow flexibility when operating compatible tools or modules.
The integrated USB interface allows firmware updates, graphical process monitoring and parameter management directly from a PC.
The DME-2B is compatible with the MSE-B Electric Desoldering Module, MVE-A Pneumatic Desoldering Module and MNE-A Nitrogen Regulator Module. Please note that the station is not compatible with the MSE-A module.
For a complete working system, at least one stand, one tool and one cartridge are required.
